Meet the Veterinarians
Dr. Bill graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2001, and moved to NH where he worked as a mixed animal practitioner for three years. He always knew he wanted to return to Perry, and in 2005 he bought the Little River Veterinary Clinic.
With his free time he enjoys working on the farm, and can often be found in the fields on his John Deere tractor in the summer.
Dr. Anabel graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada in 2011, and moved to Perry, where she started as a mixed animal practitioner. On September 10, 2011 she and Bill were married at her parents’ farm in Mercer, Maine.
Anabel enjoys outdoor activities including running, horseback riding, and skiing. Together, she and Bill have two dogs, Tucker and Lola, two cats, and three horses.
Dr. Michelle graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2016. She is from Robbinston where she lives with her husband, her cat, two guinea pigs, and dog. Aside from the usual species, she enjoys seeing exotic patients (guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, and birds to name a few). She has completed the course in veterinary acupuncture at the Chi Institute.
In her free time and she can be found hiking in the woods, sitting around a campfire, or playing with her canine companion.
Customer Service Representatives:
Linda Kinney joined the Little River Veterinary staff in June 2016 as a receptionist. Linda has a degree in business and brings with her over 30 years of customer service experience. She lives in Perry with her husband John and they share their home with two dogs, Duke, a 11 year old lab mix and Thomas, a 1 year old golden doodle. A love of animals has always been a part of her life and her job here at Little River allows her to share that passion.
Janet joined our team as a Customer Service Representative in 2006. Her goal is to help our clinic run as smoothly as possible by scheduling appointments, surgeries, and addressing your questions and concerns regarding an array of issues over the phone or in person. She was born and raised in Washington County. She has always loved working with animals, and currently lives with one dog and three cats.
Jody graduated from UCB in 2003 with Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2003. She has worked at private practice veterinary clinics, and emergency veterinary clinics in the Bangor and Wells areas. She has also worked at Somerset Primary Care in Skowhegan, and for Affiliated Laboratory INC. at EMMC as a certified phlebotomist. In September of 2011 she moved to Perry and started at LRVC. She shares her home with 2 cats, her lab, Ace, and her boxer mix, Marley Mae.
Shannon graduated from University of Maine at Augusta in 2015 with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2015. She has worked at private practice veterinary clinics in the Portland and Searsport areas. In May of 2018 she moved to the area and became part of the LRVC team. She shares her home with her husband, 2 cats, and two dogs. When not at work, she enjoys reading and spending time at the beach.
Tabitha joined the Little River Team in July of 2013. She started as a receptionist and has transitioned to a veterinary assistant as the practice grows. She grew up here is Washington County and lives on a small farm in Pembroke. She has horses, cows, chickens, cats, a beagle, a dachshund, and an Australian Cattle Dog. Tabitha enjoys learning new things about animal husbandry and is excited to expand her skills and knowledge as she gains experience as a veterinary assistant.
Anne has been with the clinic since 2005. She graduated in 1998 from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania with a B.A. in biology. Before working at LRVC, she worked at VCA AnaBrook Animal Hospital in Anaheim, CA.
Anne handles our business operations and human resources. This allows the doctors and technicians to focus on their areas of expertise. She supports the whole staff by assisting at the front desk as well as filling in as a technician, when needed. She has a special interest in animal dentistry, and enjoys playing a part in educating clients about caring for their four-legged family members.
Outside of work, Anne enjoys scrapbooking, horseback riding, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She shares her home with her husband, her three children, and a Boston Terrier named Hemi.
